SITE INFORMATION

Privacy & Cookie Notice

Effective September 20, 2026. This notice describes the rebuilt website’s intended data behavior. Standard web-server logs may record IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, referrer, response status, and similar security or delivery data. Telephone calls and emails are handled through the visitor’s chosen phone or email service. This site does not ask visitors to create an account or enter payment information.

The production site retains the existing first-party /collect/ analytics request. It may receive browser language, local date/time, time zone, referrer, and ordinary request metadata. The rebuilt template suppresses that request on localhost during development. Production hosting may also create access and error logs. Data should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, measurement, and legal obligations; the operator must confirm the actual production retention period before launch.

No advertising identifier or AdSense publisher value is included in this build. If advertising, a consent platform, additional analytics, maps, video embeds, or appointment vendors are later added, this notice and consent behavior must be updated before those services are enabled. Visitors can limit cookies through browser controls, though doing so may affect future features.

Privacy questions or access/correction requests can be sent to jaysautorepairnj@yahoo.com. Do not send identity documents unless the operator first explains a secure and necessary process. This service is intended for a general driving audience and is not designed to collect information from children.

Information you choose to provide

If you call or email, your chosen communications provider and the recipient may process your telephone number, email address, message, vehicle details, and other information you include. Share only what is necessary. The rebuilt site has no web contact form, login, account, comments, upload, checkout, financing form, or online payment flow. Clicking a telephone or email link opens the relevant application on your device; the website does not complete the call or send the message by itself.

Cookies and similar technologies

The application code sets no first-party cookie. The retained production /collect/ request is a first-party analytics endpoint and is not loaded on 127.0.0.1 or localhost. Its historical request shape includes encoded browser language, client date/time, time zone, referrer, and the normal connection metadata received by a web server. Before production release, the operator must verify the endpoint’s actual storage, retention, access controls, and whether it sets identifiers. If behavior differs from this description, update this notice or change the integration before launch.

Purposes, access, and disclosure

Operational data may be used to deliver pages, protect the site, diagnose errors, measure general use, respond to communications, and preserve records where reasonably necessary. Access should be limited to people or vendors who need it for hosting, maintenance, communications, security, or legal obligations. The build does not contain code that sells visitor information or sends data to advertising networks. Legal demands, fraud prevention, security incidents, or a business transition may require disclosure, subject to applicable obligations.

Security and retention

No internet service can promise perfect security. Production should use valid HTTPS, supported server software, restricted log access, backups, and deletion schedules. Exact retention periods have not been verified, so the site does not invent them; the production owner must document and enforce them. Email may be retained in the mailbox and backups according to the operator’s communication needs and provider settings.

Choices and changes

Visitors can avoid the site, call instead of email, limit browser storage, remove referrer information through browser settings, and request information about handling through the published email. Applicable rights depend on location and context. We will post material notice changes here with a revised effective date. Enabling ads, embedded maps, videos, appointment platforms, or additional analytics requires a new inventory, disclosure, and any legally required consent before activation.
